Wusatoumuduk: We Make It Burn

"Charli"  is a 41 year old Two-Spirit Luiseno Artist and Counselor.  Her role as Della in Wusatoumuduk will be her debut in stage performance. Charli grew up locally and has been a mentor and foster mother in the Humboldt County community for nearly two decades.  She works as a Traditional Healer and Natural Helper in the Native American community as well as a local counselor for high-risk teens and as a Parent Coach. She has dedicated her life to supporting families and building true community with those she works with and for. As a member of the Rotary Club of Arcata Sunrise she volunteers both locally and internationally to serve others. As an artist she is a sculpture, painter, muralist, and jeweler. Her art often reflects the beauty of nature, community, and resilience. One of her most recent accomplishments was winning the 2026 Times Standard Award for Artist of the Year.
